About

Our mission

Y Pod aims to be the most efficient and streamlined health and rehabilitation clinic in North Wales, providing state of the art services built around evidenced based treatment protocols.

The goal is to help every patient return to a better quality of life after suffering from foot, ankle and lower limb pain; using data driven methods to build on four main clinical specialties:

Podiatry - Biomechanics - Rehabilitation - Movement

What to expect in your appointment:

A clinical framework will be followed to enable a healthy, functional and pain free life, through:

Assessment - Diagnosis - Treatment - Performance

Our Process

Assessment

Utilising contemporary techniques, the clinical assessments conducted by our Chartered Podiatrist will be driven by patients’ diagnostic needs.

Reviewing patient history, conducting physical assessments, and collecting data will all form a part of assessing any foot, ankle, or lower limb troubles.

Diagnosis

Analysing the data collected, evidence will be used to make a diagnosis which will ensure an effective treatment plan can be drawn, where maximised movement and reduced pain is priority.

Tailored treatment plans will be designed to equip, educate, and enable patients to proceed with the most appropriate course of clinical action. This may include an onward referral to our in house Physiotherapy team amongst other healthcare services such as orthopedic surgeons, sport therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths etc.

Treatment

Educating patients forms a fundamental part of Y Pod’s treatment programme.

Understanding the diagnosis will help optimize the utilization of a personalized care plan to enable progressive improvement.

Together, through education and understanding alongside tailored treatment plans, goals can achieve, and milestones can be met.

Perform

The optimal goal is to enable patients to return to normal function and performance.

Progressively, from a pain-free period to long-term symptom relief, Y Pod’s individual rehab programmes are designed to repair and prevent further injuries.
